A. Hello good morning !! It's common at 3-5 months. Baby's habituat to latching so wants to suck all the time for soothing. Some might get early teething due to gum itching, pain they suck fingers all toys. Loose motions, mild Fever, red or swollen gums, crankiness then it's teething use soothers/teethers to ease from gum pain. Divert baby by talking, playing with baby hands or giving rattles will help.
