#asktheexpert my baby (7 months) passing motion as soon as drinking mother milk. Doctor mentioned it is lactose intolerance after stool examination, and told we need to stop mother milk, gave some some formula milk. How common lactose intolerance in infants and how long it will be while using medication? will it be cured without stopping mother milk?

A. ok dg xSome babies may be passing stool immediately after feeding this is because of gastrocolic reflex present in babies as the baby will be growing it will come down
