#AskTheExpert My baby 6.5 months old was suffering from cold and cough for past few days. As the cough increases and nose was stuffy we visited doctor nearby. Doctor prescribed ATM 100 (2.5 ML for 5 days), Laveta M (3 ml for 20 days) and Levolin (2.5 ml 3 times for 10 days) . is it okay to give this much medicine for 6.5 months old baby?

Dr. Vaibhav jainFather of a 5 yr 9 m old girl3 years agoA. it may be due to viral .Some running nose or phlem is due to the common cold and flu due to season change . Steam along with other home remedy like maintain baby temperature will help . Other medications like paracetamol for fever can be given if any fever .
