#AskTheExpert my baby (15months) having heavy wet cough. here local peadtrician suggest some syrup (ASTAKIND LS )still not stopped. she is not taking any food or milk. please advise.. we again need to show the doctor Or need to continue the same...

Dr. Vaibhav jainFather of a 6 yr old girl4 years agoA. pls try and see again. It is not possible to comment upon this issue as this might require a detailed examination and evaluation and also some tests to arrive at a diagnosis and so can consult a nearby doctor for the same and so .

AbhayaMom of a 16 yr old boy4 years agoA. Hi mom Cold and cough can take 3-9 days to get cured. So continue to give the medicine prescribed by the doctor. Also give indirect steam to ur baby 2-3 times in a day and apply baby rub on the chest and feet of the baby to get relief from cough and cold
