#asktheexpert My Aunt is telling me to expose my pregnant belly to sunlight since babies need vitamin d for growth. Is this necessary?

A. No please there is no need to do that you can expose your child into indirect sunlight after the child takes birth that is what the doctor advised there is no need to expose your belly to sun to get vitamin D it’s a muk misconception that your aunt is having
