#AskTheExpert My almost 5 months old baby is itching his ear whenever he is sleepy.. and recently he is also finding it difficult to sleep as he is very distracted and always tries to get up by pulling his head up.. can you please recommend me how I can calm him more so that he doesn't gets frustrated due to lack of sleep

ExpertDr Priyanka KalraObstetrician and Gynaecologist3 years agoA. May be teethi g.See when baby has any new complain then better avoid any self medication. Show to a doctor for right and timely diagnosis and treatment. Thays a safe procedure.See it looks ok only.but if you doubt then for your satisfaction show to a doctor there as they can examine the patient and give even a better opinion in this case .

First You see if your child is always trying to do the same thing then you should get a check with an ENT doctor maybe genuinely there is some issue which is irritating your child which is why your child is pulling the year or is feeling itching or something should get it checked once you know the right reason that it would be easier for you to manage it
