Q.

#AskTheExpert My about to be 6 months baby was prescribed Phenergan for 5 days (and another 5 days as he still has cough) for his cough and runny nose. I also came across that Phenergan should not be given to children below 2 years. I am confused as to continue or not.

A. yes can give whenever you are taking any medicine which has been given by your doctor you have to wait and watch for three days and follow the instructions given by the doctor and if therxe is no improvement after three days then take a follow up. so kindly take a follow up with your doctor who will tell you whether any change in medicine or any other investigation is needed or not
