#AskTheExpert my 9 month old baby is having 4 meals in a day breakfast, lunch,snacks n dnr and in btwn bf n fm....n her weight is 6.2 kgs .....she was born preterm weighing 1.5kg....so as of now is her weight good??....kindly suggest....

A. Good morning, It might be as little as 5 grams a day for a tiny baby at 24 weeks, or 20 to 30 grams a day for a larger baby at 33 or more weeks. In general, a baby should gain about a quarter of an ounce (30 grams) each day for every pound (1/2 kilogram) they weigh. your baby's weight is fine .
