#asktheexpert my 7m old baby having difficulty while doing potty and it has become hard. she started taking solid food after 6m. is sooji and sweet potato the reason for this? can you recommend which food to avoid?

Dr. Vaibhav jainFather of a 5 yr 9 m old girl3 years agoA. it is common and normal. Baby in the infancy does not pass motion on daily basis it may take 2 to 3 days or up to seven days to pass motion you can use glycerine suppository for the motion problem in the infancy there no need to worry.

once u start with the solids then constipation is normal. Also start giving water to ur baby to get relief from constipation.
Secondly
u can also give mashed papaya as natural laxative
