Q.

#asktheexpert my 7 months old baby has extra bump on her nipple. is there anything to worry about it or will it go by it's own? the bump was not there from birth. it was there from last 20 days. I taught it was some mosquito bite. but it didn't gone and remained like bump everyone has on their nipple.

A. hi dear Both male and female infants may have breast lumps from their mother's estrogen when they are born. The lump will most often go away on its own as the estrogen clears from the baby's body. Young girls often develop "breast buds," which appear just before the beginning of puberty. These bumps may be tender.
