#asktheexpert my 7 month old baby is refusing breastfeed for more than 13 hours he is being very fussy I know he is hungry... hunger is making him fussy but still refusing I distract and fed him solid food twice today...I don't know what to do 😥what could be the reason help me

ExpertDr.Sabiha AnjumObstetrician and Gynaecologist4 years agoA. Check the oral cavity of the baby and see if there is any ulcer or any redness because of new teeth etc. Also check the nipples for any cracks which might be causing irritationWrite Your Answer Here

Teething Could definitely be one of the biggest reasons to go for I think it maybe your child is having its teeth which is why your child is passing and irritated at not having any kind of food so you can give paracetamol or a medicine which is associated with pain relieving
