#asktheexpert my 7 month baby is pooing mucus nd blood in stool since 3 days..medicine is given even though there is not any improvement. What will be the cause of thi ?

A. If the medicines are not working than an ultrasound, scan might be required to see if there is any surgical emergency called as intussusception . Kindly consult the pediatric surgeon at the earliest.
