Q.

#asktheexpert my 7 day had jaundice 13 points at 4th day then decreased to 12 then 9 by phototherapy..now again it increased to 11 points n one more thing my blood group is A negative and my babys blood group is A positive ...he sleeps too much i m worried can u plz help me

A. Ideally, the value should keep on reducing, and if it is going beyond 11 then always, the doctors might suggest phototherapy. Please keep in touch with your doctor constantly because we have to keep a track of the jaundice levels.

A. pediatric. better to show to specialist always as they get the correct diagnosis. try to avoid self and extra medication that will only complicate this and create more damage to the child
