#AskTheExpert my 6+ month plus baby has cold and cough from yesterday no fever. I am giving steam. is there any drops or home remedies which is recommended for my baby. please help me.

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children4 years agoA. Cough and Cold together alonjhgg with the symptom like Fever loss of appetite irritability could be a feature of viral infection mostly like flu so supportive treatment is required.
along with that cough expectorant along with decongestant and antiallergic medications are needed.
steam inhalation can be given too as it will relieve the symptoms.

Nihita mittalMom of 4 children4 years agoA. good morning it is difficult to prescribe medicine without a clinical examination continue giving steam to the child I would recommend that at the same time we should try to massage with warm mustard oil on the chest and back
