Q.

#AskTheExpert my 6 month old is primarily formula fed ( around 800ml /day). should I continue giving her Vitamin D drops?The formula she takes contains 1.5mcg/ml of Vitamin D.

A. I would suggest you to start giving him cereal based food like porridge khichri sooji preparations like upma idli sambhar Dal rice roti with vegetables etc in mashed form so take care

A. Hello ma’am Even if your child is completely on formula feed it doesn’t matter because for initial six months it is recommended to give vitamin D drops and after that you can discontinue it. But if your doctor Has advised you To discontinue it after six months don’t then only discontinue otherwise consult your doctor ones whether you need to continue or discontinue it
