#AskTheExpert my 5months old poop is in green... he is on mother feeding.. and started solid food cerelac. he is going for poop daily once in dark green color.... is this ok?

ExpertDr. Swapnil SaxenaAyurvedic Physician4 years agoA. yes it is ok because the Cerelac contains formula milk content in it and babies drinking formula milk generally pass green colour of stool so if consistency is normal there is no need to worry

Hi parent completion of six months is right time for introducing food and water to your child but please avoid formula feed please give easily digestible Food like warm dal water moong water or rice starch with small quantity of spices and ghee you can give properly cooked rice and khichdi please give plenty of breast feeding to your child
