#AskTheExpert my 5 months old baby passed green and light yellow color stool sir . I'm giving athifer drops it may be due to that? pls give your valuable advice sir ?

ExpertDr Disha PatelAyurvedic Physician4 years agoA. yes, it's due to iron drops.. your baby is on iron supplements than his/her poop can be dark green in color, which is comkon n normal. continue with it.

Hi mommy Potty colouring may varies between dark yellow green colour It’s all normal and common Consult with your doctor in person for proepr physical examination and treatment Offer different varieties of food fruits vegetable pulses whole grains milk products in different shape colours patterns to make meal more interesting children are fussy eater at this age its all normal and common you can give food in puree liquid form or give some juice soup milkshake etc

I mean ,if a child is looking happy and active, gains enough weight ,there is no discomfort then it is normal. usually it is caused by imbalance between foremilk and hindmilk. so feed your child on each breast at least 20 minutes so he or she can get full fat hindmilk well.
