#asktheexpert my 5 months old baby not drinking formula milk when he woke, but he can drink in the middle of sleep why

A. first meet the dr for growth assessment. if growth and weight gain is adequate then no need to worry asbout milk intake. weight gain usually decrease with increasing age of the child. if urine output is more than 7 to 8 times per day and child is playful overall then no need to worry much. see for oral thrush, ulcer , teething pain, discomfort,fever cold , colic zwhich might be affecting the milk intake
