#AskTheExpert my 4months old baby boy love sleep over his stomach. he is very comfortable in that position. is good or bad for him?. if not so how can change his habit of sleeping

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 5 m old boy2 years agoA. there is no problem if the child is sleeping on the side or the child is sleeping on the tummy.
(one important point that has to be taken care of is that the child should be made to sleep on the tummy only under observation).
when the neck holding becomes proper than you can leave the child in tummy position without any observation.
the important thing is that idf the child is not having any difficulty in breathing as well as respiration and digestion problem then you can continue to let the child sleep as well as give feeding in this position.
but if you fdeel that the child is having regular coughing as well as breathing difficulty then you have to change the position of the child
