#AskTheExpert my 4 year old daughter is having cough (khaasi) for almost 4 months now and she often coughs in sleeping position and it could be due to some allergy but is not getting solved and she coughs regularly

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Cough in a child could be allergic , infective or due to some other cause like GERD so it needs proper valuation before giving any medication . Primarilgfy you can give steam inhalation to the child for the improvement before consulting your dgoctor.

It could be a possibility that your child may be having some kind of an allergy you should just get a check with your doctor get an allergy test done to figure out as to what could be the issue according to that you can consult an allergy doctor for a proper treatmentWrite Your Answer Here
