#asktheexpert my 4 months old daughter is having green stools. she recently had diarrhea and was only on ORS for eight hours. after that she was breast fed. She passes gas very oftenly but with difficulty. her doctor has given her gas syrup also. is this the cause of green mucous like stools?

A. hi. .green mucous stool is due some infection . better to give adviced medicine as per instructions, and breast feed welk to avoid dehyderation. do follow up visit with your treating doctor
