#asktheexpert my 4 months daughter keep on putting her fingers n hand in mouth whole time, when I stop her she gets angry,may be she feels itching in gums. Is there anything I can do to prevent it. Can teeth started coming so early?

ExpertDr. Garima VermaDentist4 years agoA. hello mam yes teeth can start coming at this age. to reduce itching you can start massaging the gums with clean cotton cloth wrapped around your finger three to four times a day.

Ankita MehtaMom of a 10 yr 2 m old girl4 years agoA. hi it is normal.. please don't force your child just gently remove his or her thumb from mouth. if it happens because of teething,you can give massage with clean finger on sore gums of your child provide silicone teether provide apt sun light at least 20 minutes a day maintain good hygiene
