A. Yes, hair fall in a four-month-old baby is completely normal. Most babies lose the hair they were born with due to a natural process called telogen effluvium, which is triggered by hormonal changes after birth. This shedding usually happens around 2–6 months of age and is replaced gradually by new, often thicker hair. There's no need to worry unless you notice bald patches with redness, scaling, or signs of infection, in which case a doctor should evaluate it.
