#AskTheExpert my 4 months 14 days old daughter has been prescribed tonoferon iron drops. however after first dose she passed brown colored fluid and suffered from colic for the first time. I am exclusively breastfeeding her and am myself taking iron and multivitamin supplements. should we continue with iron drops for her

it is normal.
don't worry
just feed your child on demand
burp your baby well.
give massage to your child daily
give massage on stomach in clockwise direction with firm hands.
move your child legs in cycling motions.
if child is crying inconsolably then apply paste of hing with warm water around navel of your child or use Babyhug brand tummy roll on.
