#AskTheExpert my 4 month old baby girl has fever from last 2 days? what is the reason? we consult doctor he said it Will be viral infection?

ExpertDr Disha PatelAyurvedic Physician3 years agoA. mostly fever are viral in origin2, keep temperature checking 6 hourly.. And give paracetamol drops / syp in proper dose. Fevers higher than 104° F. should be attended to immediately. Dress your child lightly. Use a sheet instead of a blanket to cover her in bed. Breastfeed more often

Vritika AroraMom of a 5 yr 2 m old child3 years agoA. Hi dear mom Yes it can be viral fever. It can take 3-5 days to subside. So no need to worry. Give medicine as prescribed by the doctor. Get ur baby vaccinated well on time to increase the immunity. Take care
