#asktheexpert my 4 and half month old daughter gets cold and cough frequently. what should I do to prevent it (apart from consulting doctor everytime).

A. this is quite natural due to change the weather and less immunity in the babies they will be getting recurrent infections till baby will be growing to the particular age treat the baby symptomically Cold and cough in small babies are because of viral infections you have to treat them symptomatically with steam inhalation and saline drops in the nose of the baby e they will subside generally in a week's time

A. Warm Mustard Oil and Rock Salt Massage Warm a bit of mustard oil and add some rock salt to it. A teaspoon of the salt is what is recommended. Once the mixture is warm enough to apply on the baby’s body, you can slowly massage his chest, back, and feet with this. It is suggested that you also cover the same with a cotton cloth, so that it can provide the required warmth for the baby to feel fine.
