#AskTheExpert my 3 years old is diagnosed with molluscum contagiosum. He has lot of itching n is irritated how to give him relief? How much time it will take to go?

A. Hi Ma'am/sir, how's your baby now? Does molluscum go away? if yes then can you please help how you cured it? my 2 years old developed so many bumps on his face and chest please help. your suggestion would be great help

A. Hi Mom, A molluscum contagiosum infection will usually go away on its own if the immune system is healthy. Typically, this happens gradually within six to 12 months and without scarring. However, for some it may take from a few months up to a few years for the bumps to disapear.
