Q.

#AskTheExpert My 3 months old daughter has had a very strong suckling reflex since birth. From the last couple of days I think she wants to take everything in her mouth and I think scratch her lower gum.. I am not sure if she still needs a soother? Is it ok to giver her one? Or teether is what will be better..?

A. there is no problem in using pacifier / nipple if cleaned. the problem arises when it falls down and goes again inside the oral cavity of the child without proper cleaning cand sterilization. if it is not cleaned and goes in the oral cavity can cause infectionc and cough and cold and loose motion

A. Teething Is happening with your child which is why your child behaviour has changed like this it would be advisable for you to introduce the teether to the child it’s a very good days to go for it because that is going to help in soothing down the irritation in the gums of the child
