#AskTheExpert my 3 months baby is doing little little green potty everytime she is drinking milk or 5 to 6 times a day. it is grainy and slimy.

Green colour stool is normal only,
If baby is passing urine minimum 6-8 times per day.
Don't give so much importance to motion unless blood in motion or bad smelling motion.
Consistently green stools in the breastfed baby can indicate an imbalance of foremilk/hindmilk,
often resulting in frothy green stools. ... Teething can also bring about green stools due to increased saliva.
A lot of green vegetables or something with green food coloring in mom's diet also cause green colour motion in baby.

POOJA KOTHARIMom of a 8 yr 5 m old boy2 years agoA. Green mucousy stool is a sign that baby's intestines are irritated. If this lasts a few days and then starts getting better, it's probably a virus or a mild reaction to something in mom's diet.
