#asktheexpert my 3 month old baby has rough patches of cradle cap on skin ..any problem with it..can it cause any infection?? pic attached..plz check & advice Dr.

ExpertDr Priyashree Mukherjee ChakrabortyPaediatrician11 months agoA. Yes, this is cradle cap which is due to fungal infection, which can happen after oil application. Very common in this age group. Apply spoo shampoo every alternate and stop oil application.
