#AskTheExpert My 3 mo daughter has had a cough for over a week, she is active and has no fever. Have been giving her nasal spray and mucolite drops what else can be done?

A. keep the child well covered and cover the ears and neckof the child properly to prevent temperature variations. give nasal saline drops every 3 hours which will help in decreasing both cough and cold. you can also go for indirect steam inhalation. continue regzular diet and keep child well hydrated. if the child is well hydrated then cough and cold will improve rapidly. anti-cold medicines at this azge have got side effects so can be given only after medical consultation. can give indirect steam inhalation. z
