#asktheexpert My 3 and half month boy is refusing breast feeding I m trying by all means he is not accepting always likes to drink formula only My BM has completely reduced What to do now? I m taking lactare capsules n galact granules but no use

A. Expressing in this situation can help relieve any pain, maintain your supply and reduce the risk of getting a blocked duct or mastitis. Try feeding your expressed milk with a spoon and a bowl or you can even use the bottle for the same. Spending lots of time in skin to skin contact with your baby on your bare chest can help to remind your baby that this is a nurturing place to be. Skin to skin contact also helps the baby to use his or her instincts to find your breasts on his or her own.
