Q.

#asktheexpert my 28 months old toddler doesn't speak at all.. but understands small commands like sit down stand up.. n sometimes wave bye also.. always responds to his name, makes amazing eye contact. is this normal.. is he just a late talker.?

A. Lata variation from baby to baby in development of speech mistakes sometime for the baby to have proper speech continued interact more with the baby take the help of speech therapist there is need

A. hi yes ,it should be normal because kids at the age between 18 to 30 months who can understand what you say well , but have limited expressive vocabulary of words are considered as late talkers. so as such no need to worry. but if a child can not I utter single word or letter , can not even babble then you should consult your pediatrician for once
