Q.

#AskTheExpert my 22 month old is COVID positive. while measuring the temperature through infrared thermometer, different temperature is showing up on measuring neck/forehead /behind ear. please let me know which one should I consider as correct and the accurate reading. thanks

A. since infrared thermometer measuring the surface temperature it is not correct we have to use digital thermometer and mercury thermometer preferably in the axilla of the baby

A. Hello mom You should just consider the forehead temperature. And you have to give a medication according to that. If your baby is Covid positive then in such case you should definitely consult with your paediatrician about it so Dr Ka advised to some medication which will help in boosting babies immunity
