#asktheexpert my 2 years old baby girl is constipated. She is afraid of poo now. She holds it back. We need to use dulcolex suppository now. What is the solution .

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy1 Year agoA. The problem of constipation will decrease with proper diet modification that is plenty of water sand fibre diet and try to give more papaya oats and fennel seeds water to the child.
You may have to give a course of constipation medicine to the child to stabilize the child from the pain.
Constipatsion usually decreases with increasing age of the child and medicines give only symptomatic relief.
