#AskTheExpert my 2 months old baby is having cough and cold .. she is unable to sleep proper in the night and all night she moves her near nose ... I little worry about her health condition ... please suggest ..(.we don't feel like that the cough in her chest) please explain the condition in both the case

ExpertDr. Mohammed imranPaediatrician3 years agoA. hi parent give saline nasal drops and steam inhalation with baby rub avoid exposure to cold weather if the problem persists consult your doctor for proper examination and medication maintain hydration

Put nasal saline drops to unblock nose. Give indirect steam to ur baby 2-3 times in a day. This will help in liquifying mucus and clear the chest congestion. Also apply warm mustard oil with pinch of rock salt on the chest and feet of the baby to get relief from cough and cold.
