#AskTheExpert My 2 month old baby girl has not pooped since 8 days. The doctor has prescribed to give half glycerin suppositories. can we give suppositories to such a small child?

A. Yes youcan use and if babyis comfortable and passing six to eight times urine in a day then nothing to worry and feed baby on regular intervals and massage tummy in clockwise direction around the naval and cycling motion of legs and give tummy time to baby

A. Hello ma’am Yes you can give it to the child if it wasn’t saved the doctor would have not recommended you to go for it in the first place. But also I would like to tell you it is common for infants not to pass motion for 7 to 10 days or even 15 days in certain cases but if your child is taking all the feeds properly and the urine output is proper and your child is not showing any sign of discomfort then it is normal don’t worry about it
