Q.
#AskTheExpert My 2.5month old kid has not gone to potty in 2 days. she has been passing gas and urine is fine, has also been drinking sufficient mother's milk. please help

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Constipation in Babies less than 1 year is very common and more in formulha fed babies and also when initially the semi solid food has been started after 6 months . you can give bonnisan drops and some enzyme preparations in proper dose suggested by doctor and cow's milk should be avoided before 1 year of age . Medications are required but it should be gidven only in medical supervision .

Ankita MehtaMom of a 9 yr 3 m old girl3 years agoA. hi no worries it is normal for newborns to not pass stool on daily basis. just give breasfeeding as and when it is required. give massage on daily basis which definitely help to regularise bowlmovements.
