#AskTheExpert My 18 months baby not responds to her name, she was responding and upto 14 months and doing well as per the age but now she is not giving response and haven't started speaking yet. pls suggest what to do.

A. if the child was responding then no need to worry definitely she will and communication it's not late yet you can wait for few more months

A. hi mom. communication is different for each babies. babies will start to communicate almost around 16 to 18 months. now their communication may not be very clear but they will be able to say few words. but every child is different so there are some early speakers or late speakers. reduce the use of mobile and TV for a better communication. just communicate with him continuously and point out this objects and name them, repeat it until the baby is able to say it. have patience as it comes very slowly.
