#AskTheExpert My 17 month old daughter has hurt her hand while crawling. she has a little swelling on top of her palm behind her little finger. But she is normal n shows no signs of pain.

A. hi your baby is 17 months old now small injury to hands or legs ar common in this age group and unless baby has any discomfort do not worry just apply ice at site of swelling

A. Hello ma’am If there is swelling start keeping an ice cube on to those areas years rabbit little bit probably with time the swelling is going to settle down and still if you feel that the swelling does not subside in 24 hours are there is any pain then consult your doctor
