Loose motion are most of the time infective where it is associated with fever and vomiting and its known as gastroenteritis where symptomatic treatment along with managemengt for dehydration is required if loose motions are associated jwith foul smell mucous high grade fever than it could be bacterial infection which needs antibiotics treatment

This is a very common thing with kids to have lose motions when they are having their teeth so I will only advise you to consult your paediatrician Railway with proper medication and till the time your child is having lose motions avoid giving milk to the child
