#asktheexpert my 14 month old baby keeps on screeching, her head is hot sometimes and she keeps on sucking cloth or puts her finger in her mouth. She is still teething. I am not sure if I need to take her to a doctor or it is common for teething baby.

yes during teething phase kids feel irritated due to itching in the gums caused by the erupting teeth and they tend to put everything in their mouth to chew on and get relief from the itching.
