Q.
#AskTheExpert my 10 month old baby is having running nose and slight cough. I am giving her maxtra and asthakind P drops. But after taking astha drops she immediately vomit the medicine. Is there any other medicine for cough. As my doc is out of town for few days and I can’t communicate to him. Also can I give steam to 11 month old baby and if yes, how can I give her.

ARCHANA KULKARNIMom of 2 children2 years agoA. I use indirect steam when the babies are asleep and apply mama earth vapor rub its working for my babies . Also use eucalyptus oil in the vapor it will help a lot. Don’t directly apply the oil on the baby though. For cough I used adulsa cough syrup which is Ayurvedic but I suggest you talk to your doctor before using it for your baby

Dr GhouseGuardian of 3 children2 years agoA. kufril LS drops to the baby hhcold and cough most of the times because of viral infection sometimes even allergies please give steam inhalation frequently to liquefied the secretions and saline nasal drops in nose of the baby

NikithaMom of 2 children2 years agoA. hello give indirect steam and also put nasal drops or use instant rub from Babyhug which is effective and any concern regarding medication it is better to check with your doctor and your doctor will be able to guide you better on examination of the same
