#AskTheExpert My 1 year 15 days old gets the object instead of pointing it when we name it. she though points sometimes looking at pictures while scrolling through book herself. she bends forward and points hand in direction when she needs something. is this mix of pointing appropriate for the age. worries. please suggest. she otherwise can walk independently and says few words at times, smiles, plays and Recognizes her name

A. a baby will start Sitting with support by 6 months of age and by 7 to 8 months baby will sit without support than by 9 months usually baby crawls and in 10 months baby will stand with support. After 12 to 15 months baby will start Wbalking independently and sometimes it may take even longer but in no case any Walker should be avoided as it can cause recurrent fall injury and delay in the walking because the child lacks confidence of walking independently.
