#Asktheexpert My 1.5 year baby is having cough and was prescribed Alocet syrup. The cetrizine is making her excessively drowsy. How much sleeping is excessive and when should I consult the pediatricians. initially she was sleeping one time in a day and after taking medicines she is sleeping 5 times a day.

A. there are other alternative medicines can be taken consal doctor once again Cold and cough in small babies are because of viral infections you have to treat them symptomatically with steam inhalation and saline drops in the nose of the baby e they will subside generally in a week's time
