#AskTheExpert My 1.5 month old son is not breastfeeding, he likes to be bottlefeed, I am using breastpump and giving him formula, just want to know if bottle feeding is okay

Janani ViswanathanMom of 2 children4 years agoA. Have lot of skin to skin sessions with your baby. This is called kangaroo therapy. It improves Breastmilk, improves baby weight and encourages Breastfeeding.

Janani ViswanathanMom of 2 children4 years agoA. The baby may have a nipple confusion. If u r parallely Breastfeeding as well as bottle feeding then u may try using Medela calma bottle and teats. It worked for my kids. This bottle works similar to Breastfeeding. The milk won't come unless the baby sucks. It will give the same feel as feeding from the mother. You may give it a try.
