#AskTheExpert Mr daughter is suffering from fever and cough we suspect COVID as I'm also positive. She is not eating we gave her pacimol on empty stomach as her fever was going high, She voimited. Can we give her medicine as Pacimol on empty stomach.

Omicron variant is likely to be more infective and spread easily.
Its symptoms are cough fatigue runny nose congestion.
Children show predominantly upper respiratory tract infection likr fever, runny nose, throat pain, body ache , dry cough.
It is recommended to wear a mask regardless of the vaccination status and maintain social distancing. use of sanitizer is recommended .Consultation with doctor personally , is required because examination of the baby is necessary to arrive on a conclusive diagnosis and prescribe accordingly.
Maintain adequate hygiene to prevent risk of infection and stay safe

Kirti ChandwalkerMom of 3 children3 years agoA. have you are covid-19 positive and your baby is staying with you it is always better to get baby checked with rt-pcr test and get proper medicine from doctor and you should give easy to digest food like soup and juice so that baby will not remain empty stomach with having empty stomach the fever will always go up only
