#asktheexpert mere new born baby Ko jaundice hai voh37 day ka he uska bilirubin 8.6 aaya kyaa ye normal hai

Author of questionGuardian of a 4 yr 10 m old girl1 Year agoA. after 1week of my delivery I admited him in hospital for phototherapy but still he have jaundice that's why I'm worried about him when I discharged him bilirubin was 8 but last week his bilirubin level increased

there is always a chance of neonatal jaundice in small children within one or maximum 2 weeks of birth in which the skin as the eyes may appear yellow.
you have to meet the doctor for evaluation of the jaundice.d
normal simple jaundice will go away on its own with only breastfeeding but if it is more your doctor will advise phototherapy.
the yellowness from the eyes may take around 1 to 1 and half month to totally go away.
