Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 7 m old boy2 years agoA. it is in diagnosis of allergic cough cold . here the child will have regular cough and cold which is usually not associated with fever . it increases and decreases but does not get cured completely. dr will give anti allergic medicine usually motelukast / levocetirizine. if its still not improving the next line of treatment will be inhaler therapy with mdi / nebulizer. allergy can be environmental (temperature variation -hot to cold weather/ cold water intake / dust / smoke / pollens) , fxood , chocolate / packet preservatives food and sweet food also. body cannot sustain such allergic changes leading to cough cold usually at evening /night and morning.

AbhayaMom of a 15 yr 11 m old boy2 years agoA. Hi mom Can be due to change in weather. continue with the medicine prescribed by the doctor. Also apply vicks vaporub on the chest and throat to get relief from cough and cold. Take care and all the best
