#AskTheExpert mere baby ko since last 6days bahot sardi n cough he.. Morning me n rat me khasi he bahot..Started mucolite medicine after pediatrician's consultation..but still bahot sardi n cough he..nak block ho jati he bar bar..dr has advised me to give steam to baby..but steam kaise dete he muze pata nahi he.. please advise

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children4 years agoA. Cough and Cold should be treated only after a proper examination by a doctor as there may be some associated factor .jg
As the first line of treatment you can give steam inhalation which would be helpful .
Cough Syp should be given only after a proper evaltuation .
